Tyus Jones Over 1.5 Made Threes (-162)
Tyus Jones is facing the Miami Heat, and that pushes me to the over on his made threes prop.
Miami has given up a bunch of three-point tries this season, and while they've improved a bit in that department as the campaign has progressed, they're still permitting the 12th-highest three-point attempt rate over the last 15 games (40.5%).
The Heat are giving up the seventh-most three-point shots per night to point guards (8.7).
Jones has made multiple threes just twice over his previous eight games, but outside of a red-hot 5-for-7 three-point night, he's been oddly cold from the outside during that stretch, making only 30.0% of his threes. For the year, he's a 37.7% shooter from three.
Our model has Jones making 1.9 of his 5.0 three-point tries tonight. I'm a little more bullish on him than that and don't mind the -162 juice.
Patrick Beverley Over 3.5 Assists (-106)
Our model is super into Patrick Beverley today in what should be an over-friendly game environment versus the Sacramento Kings -- a clash holds a 236.5-point over/under and 1.0-point spread.
The Kings have been miserable defensively of late, ranking 27th in defensive rating over the last 15 games. They've conceded the fifth-most assists per night to point guards this season (9.0) and the third-most across the past 15 games (10.0).
Beverley has played eight games with the Chicago Bulls, and he's had nice numbers, averaging 4.1 assists and 28.2 minutes per game. He's tallied at least four assists in five of the eight outings.
We project Beverley to amass 4.3 dimes on Wednesday night.
Kawhi Leonard Under 2.5 Made Threes (-128)
I'm loving that this under is just -128.
Kawhi Leonard has been on fire from three in recent weeks. I mean, just scorching hot. Across his last seven games, he's made 58.3% of his shots from beyond the arc and has drilled at least three triples in five of those seven games.
That's probably why the juice on this under is only -128, but he's obviously not going to keep shooting this well. Kawhi is making 41.9% of his threes on the year and is a 38.7% three-point shooter for his career. And he needs to make a high clip to get to this over as he shoots just 4.5 threes per game.
Our algorithm projects Leonard to go 2.4 of 6.0 from three tonight against the Golden State Warriors.
