In MLS action, four games are on tap for the fourth of July, and fireworks are certainly expected in tonight’s meetings. FC Dallas hosts Inter Miami CF for the first time in nearly two years, having played in October 2020 to a 2-1 victory. Meanwhile, CF Montreal can jump into the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a win tonight, but they’ll need to take down an LA Galaxy team that has beaten them in their previous three outings.
FC Dallas (-200) vs Inter Miami CF (+500)
In two games in Texas, Dallas has taken down Miami with a combined score of 5-1, and they’ll be extra motivated to do the same tonight. A win propels them into third place in the Western Conference, leapfrogging four teams. They’re coming in quite cold, as they’ve dropped four of their last six games, including two at home. The last time Dallas lost three consecutive home games was in 2011, spanning from August to September. Luckily, they welcome a team with a miserable away record.

Miami has seen better days when playing on the road, as they enter tonight’s contest with a 1-5-1 record as the away team. They’ve managed to win three of their last four games, but all victories have come on home field. In their last 13 games on the road, Miami has dropped ten. Failing to reach the score sheet in the previous three road games, they also have been shut out in eight games total. Go with Dallas to secure a win tonight with tight defense, as they may only need a goal to lock up three points.
LA Galaxy (-135) vs CF Montreal (+310)
In their previous three meetings, LA has held off Montreal in each game and secured a victory. They’ve allowed Montreal one point in four games and have taken over after winning just once in the first five games played between the two. They hold a 4-4-1 record and are coming off a tough 3-2 defeat, despite mounting a comeback late into the game that fell just short. Dejan Joveljic has scored in three consecutive games, all of which have come as a substitute, and will look to add more to an impressive 2022 campaign.
Montreal is coming in hot, having won their last road game 2-1 against Seattle on Wednesday. Their fourth win as the away team ties a franchise record for most wins while on the road in a single season. It’s impressive to consider they’ve lost just one away game in their last seven after dropping their first two of the year. The Impact have done a spectacular job keeping up with the best teams of the Eastern Conference, and a win tonight puts them right back up at the top. They enter tonight’s contest as underdogs but consider putting some money on them to continue their winning ways behind enemy lines.
