In MLS action today, a total of 10 games are scheduled for a busy Wednesday night. Inter Miami hosts the Philadelphia Union and could over sole possession of the first place in the Eastern Conference. Sporting Kansas City visits Minnesota United, looking to snap their opponent’s three-game winning streak while winning two in a row for the first time since Oct. 2021. Meanwhile, the Seattle Sounders and Nashville SC go head-to-head as they battle for positioning in the West, with one point separating the two clubs.
Inter Miami (+175) vs Philadelphia Union (+145)
Coming in as underdogs for tonight’s match, Miami has won three consecutive home games and five of their last six. Their recent span includes multiple goals in each home game, the longest active streak this season among MLS teams. They battled Philadelphia to a scoreless draw in their last meeting and are unbeaten in their previous three games. With a win today, they can draw even with Columbus and New England, inching closer to a playoff spot.

Philadelphia hasn’t won a road game since May, but they’re coming into tonight’s game with all the momentum on their side. They crushed D.C. United 7-0, tying a league record for largest margin of goals in a single game, while their five-goal first half also tied a league record. They got a hat trick from Julian Carranza and two from Mikael Uhre and Alejandro Bedoya, becoming the fifth team in MLS to receive multiple goals from three players in one game. While we like Miami’s recent success on home soil, it ends tonight against the Union.
Minnesota United (-130) vs Sporting Kansas City (+320)
The last time these two teams met, Minnesota came away with a 2-1 victory on Halloween last year. In their previous six meetings, three games were decided by one goal, while the remaining games ended in a draw. Minnesota is currently on a three-game winning streak, their first of the season, after defeating Vancouver last Friday. A win tonight earns them their second franchise four-game win streak, with their first and only one dating back to the summer of 2019.
Kansas City stunned the Montreal Impact in their last outing and could win two games in a row for the first time this season. They’re 0-3-1 following a victory and have been outscored by a wide margin, 7-1. Johnny Russell will be a player to watch out for, as he has ten goal contributions against Minnesota, making him the second-most successful player against the organization. Unfortunately, Minnesota is playing on another level and is in a good position to land their fourth consecutive win tonight.
Nashville SC (-120) vs Seattle Sounders (+320)
Nashville can’t afford another outing like the one they had last Saturday against Charlotte. They conceded four goals for the first time in club history, missing their opportunity to leapfrog over four teams into the third-place spot in the West. Still searching for their first win of the month and first home victory since May, they take on a team they’ve played just once, ending in a 1-0 victory.
After winning just one of nine away games to start the season, Seattle has gone on a tear, winning two of their last three games on the road and keeping the sheet clean in both victories. They’re looking to avenge a 3-0 defeat at home last Saturday, the widest margin in a loss in their club’s history. The Sounders will need to keep Hany Mukhtar at bay, as he’s scored eight goals in his last eight MLS games, leading the MLS during that span by two goals. Nashville’s offense will be too much for Seattle to handle, so consider taking them in tonight’s contest.
